 |
This is the story of a bridge connecting heaven and earth called the "Rainbow Bridge". It is called that because of its many vivid colors. Just this side of the bridge there are flowers, grassy hills and meadows. When a pet dies it enters this place of peace, beauty and miracles. There is plenty to eat and drink, the old and the frail become young again and the broken are made whole. It is a happy and healthy place, but something is missing. That special person who loved them on earth is not there, so they continue to romp and play. Then one day she suddenly stops playing. Her eyes stare straight ahead. It has seen something familiar, and runs from the group. It is you she has seen, and when you and your friend meet again it becomes an explosion of licks and hugs. Your beloved pet has found you, and once more you are looking into the eyes of a faithful companion. Then you both cross the "Rainbow Bridge" never more to be separated. |
